Dimensional inspection shall be carried out as follows: Finished condition Tolerances
a) for round bars:not less than 150 mm from the end of the bar h6 h7 h9 h11 h12
  Cold-drawn .. .. R R - S - H R - S - H
b) for round bars cut length: not less than 10 mm from the end of the bar Peeled .. .. R R R
  Ground R R R .. ..
c) for shapes other than round: not less than 25 mm from the end of the bar  R = round     S = square    H = hexagon
